Another great day in Morgins – as well as the market in the square with the local stalls,food,bars and live music we had what can only be described as the Festival of Lumberjacks being held on the school field.A series of competitions shaping huge logs into all sorts of shapes,races with chain saws and lots of testosterone ! There even a stand exhibiting all the different mushrooms you can find in the forest explaining which are safe to eat etc. It all came to a rather sudden end at 7.30 because Mass was about to start in the church in the square where the band only 5 minutes ago had been blasting out some pretty good tunes.Lovely day – lovely village.
