Day with a mountain bike guide

It’s just like golf , if you don’t take a lesson every so often you just develop more bad habits . After a nervous start I had a great days riding in Chatel, Avoriaz and Morgins today . Led by our guide Rolf Sigg from Snowline and Andre ,a rally cross test driver from Monaco , with his two teenage sons , I knew this was going to be fun if not a little scary . Having a guide who knows your capability and can push you just enough to improve your technique is just what I needed. I have been mountain biking in the Portes du Soleil for about 8 years now and today I rode 3 new run . I also had the right bike for the conditions , not too big a frame with 180 suspension making it a lot easier to get through the rocks . A nice lunch at the Abricotine and couple of cold beers at the T Bar in Morgins to finish -this has been another perfect day in the mountains . Now what is tomorrows adventure ?
