RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

Bookings are made in the knowledge of, and with full acceptance of, the following terms and conditions.

BOOKING PROCEDURE

A legally binding contract will come into existence once the earlier of your deposit or full payment is received by Mountain Plus Sàrl

The final balance and bond are due 60 days before the arrival date. If payment is not received in full on time, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and levy cancellation charges in accordance with the Cancellation section below.

If you book your holiday less than 60 days before the arrival date, full payment is due immediately.

Upon receipt of the final the final balance, we will forward you information and directions to your accommodation, tourist information about the resort, and details of the check in location and process.

HOLIDAY PRICE

The price quoted includes the accommodation and amenities as described on our website www.mountain-plus.com. In case of discrepancies between amenities as described on a 3rd party advertising platform and on www.mountain-plus.com, the description on www.mountain-plus.com will take precedence. The price also includes, final clean, laundry costs, tourist taxes and VAT.

All payments are to be made in Swiss Francs, and the full amount must be received by Mountain Plus Sàrl. Any bank charges or cost of transfer must be covered by the guest.

Any prices quoted for additional activities, such as ski lessons, are correct at the time of publication. We will do our best to keep all published prices up to date, but cannot take responsibility for any changes made between booking and arrival.

ACTIVITIES & SERVICES

Mountain Plus Sàrl will arrange activities or services with 3rd party providers, such as but not limited to, ski schools, equipment hire shops, childcare providers, or transport providers. Mountain Plus Sàrl will arrange such activities for guests free of charge for any activity or services booked during the period of their booking with Mountain Plus Sàrl, unless a fee is agreed explicitly and in advance with the guest.

Mountain Plus Sàrl cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for the quality of any activities or services provided by 3rd party providers, whether booked as a service by Mountain Plus Sàrl or otherwise, and cannot under any circumstances be held liable for any accidental injury, death or damage/loss to personal effects of the Guest during such activities or services.

INSURANCE

It is a condition of booking that you ensure that you have adequate insurance to cover cancellation, medical or accident costs or requirements, mountain rescue, repatriation, personal belongings, and third party liability including personal injury claims and damage to rented property and equipment. The Customer expressly indemnifies Mountain Plus Sàrl against all costs relating to such eventualities. Neither the Owner or Manager shall be held responsible in any way for accidental injury, death or damage/loss to personal effects of the Guest. If, due to circumstances beyond the Owner’s control, such as flood, fire, hurricane or other damage, the Owner is unable to honour this agreement, the Damage Deposit and advance payments shall be fully refunded provided said damage was not the fault of the Guest.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT

The Guest is responsible for all damages excluding wear and tear, and including those which exceed the deposit amount.

The guest is required to provide valid credit card details on arrival in lieu of a CHF1000.- damage deposit. The guest expressly authorises Mountain Plus Sàrl to charge the credit card in accordance with the terms and conditions herein. In the event that the guest cannot provide such details, a CHF1000.- deposit must be provided in cash or by bank transfer before or on arrival. It is a condition of booking to provide such a deposit. The deposit may be held, or a charge made on the credit card details provided, up to 10 days after the check out date.

Non-returned keys are charged at a minimum of CHF200.- for chalets and CHF450.- for apartments where a key change involves replacing locks for the whole building for security reasons.

Any disruption caused by late departure, and our staff being unable to start cleaning on time will be charged at CHF100.- per hour. Late check out is possible, subject to availability, by prior arrangement for a late check out fee of CHF50.-.

Accidents do happen, and we would ask you to let us know of any breakages so the items can be replaced. Any breakages/damage may be deducted from your bond, as will excessive cleaning and laundry. The amount charged for such breakages is entirely at the property manager’s reasonable discretion, and will be based on the replacement or repair cost in the country in which the property is located.

CANCELLATIONS

In the unfortunate circumstance that you have to cancel your holiday, please provide written notice at the earliest opportunity. Cancellation charges will apply as shown below:

More than 60 days before the arrival date – 20% of rental price

60 days and less before the arrival date – 100% of rental price

We strongly recommend that clients take out cancellation insurance to protect themselves in the event of unforeseen cancellations.

We cannot reimburse or refund monies for any unused services booked, or shortened holidays for whatever reason.

ALTERATIONS BY US

If, before your holiday, we find ourselves obliged to change one of the principle elements of the reservation, we will inform you immediately.

You can then either cancel the contract and receive a full reimbursement of the booking, or accept the proposed change, and we will issue a revised booking confirmation to this effect.

We will however only make changes in exceptional circumstances including, but not limited to, frozen pipes, loss of electricity and heating.

In the unlikely event of us having to cancel your booking should the accommodation become unavailable due to exceptional circumstances, we will refund your deposit or any payments you have made for your accommodation in full.

BEHAVIOUR

When you make a booking with Mountain Plus Sàrl, you accept responsibility for the proper conduct of the whole party. We reserve the right to terminate your rental due to any misconduct that we consider likely to cause damage or danger to the property, its contents, to neighbouring properties, or distress/danger to neighbours. You agree to indemnify us against any claims and legal costs, made against us by or on behalf of the owners of such properties.

MAILING LIST

Our mailing list is operated in accordance with the terms of the Data Protection Act. We will not disclose your details to any third party, and will remove your details on request

PROBLEMS/COMPLAINTS

In the unlikely event that you have cause for dissatisfaction or wish to make a complaint, please contact us immediately, so we can try to resolve any issues. We can only deal with any problems or complaints that have been notified to us during the holiday.

Where our site contains links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, these links are provided for your information only. We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources, and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

RIGHT OF ENTRY

Whilst respecting the reasonable privacy of the client, the property manager, or a person appointed by the property manager, reserves the right to access all properties at all times, if necessary, for repairs and emergencies.

CLEANING & CLEANING COSTS

The final clean does not include washing up, emptying of dishwasher, removal of rubbish and bottles, or disposal of food. Should the cleaning staff need to do this, the excess cleaning cost will be deducted from the damage deposit. A fixed cleaning cost, deemed sufficient to cover normal cleaning requirements by the property manager, has been agreed with a cleaning company for each property. Should the cost of cleaning exceed this fixed amount due to abnormal or abusive use of the property, the excess cost will be deducted from the damage deposit. The definition of abnormal or abusive use of the property is at the property manager’s reasonable discretion.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

The maximum number of people staying in the property must not exceed the advertised capacity, unless by agreed by prior written arrangement with the property manager. Any additional costs associated with over occupancy will be charged to the client making the booking or deducted from the damage deposit at a minimum cost of CHF100.- per person per night.

Arrival time is between 4.30pm and 8pm. Departure time is 10.00am. Earlier arrival and later departures can be agreed subject to prior arrangement. A CHF50.- early check-in/late check out fee will apply. Later arrival is available subject to prior arrangement and staff availability. We will always do our best to accomodate your needs!

PETS

No pets allowed unless by prior written arrangement.

SMOKING

All properties are non-smoking.
