Chalet Lilian is a charming stand alone chalet in Morgins, set in the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area. With mountain views, sunny terraces and the comfort of a private alpine home, it is an easy, relaxed base for family holidays in both winter and summer.

The chalet sits at the entrance to the village, in a peaceful spot with generous outdoor space. The ski-bus stop is just a one-minute walk away, giving simple access to the ski lifts, village centre, shops and restaurants while preserving the calm and privacy of a standalone chalet.

Inside, Chalet Lilian has a cosy alpine feel, with wood-panelled rooms, comfortable seating, a beautiful stone fireplace and plenty of space to settle in after a day on the mountain. It is welcoming, characterful and well equipped, with the kind of thoughtful layout that makes mountain holidays feel easy.

The main living room is the heart of the chalet, with a large corner sofa, an additional armchair and a striking stone fireplace. It is a natural place to gather after skiing, hiking or a day outdoors. There is a TV with Apple TV and a DVD player.

The chalet sleeps up to seven guests across three bedrooms. On the lower level, there is a double bedroom with storage, a chest of drawers and a small desk. Also on this level is a spacious triple bedroom with one double bed and one single bed, ideal for children, siblings or a parent sharing with a child. Upstairs, the bright double bedroom opens directly onto a terrace and includes storage plus a comfortable chair with footstool — a quiet spot to read, relax or enjoy the mountain air.

There are two bathrooms and two separate toilets. The lower level has a bathroom with shower-over-bath and towel radiator, plus a separate toilet. Upstairs, there is a second bathroom with bath and shower, also with a towel radiator, and another separate toilet. The layout works well for families and small groups, with bathroom facilities on both floors.

The kitchen is compact and well equipped, with a dishwasher, oven, stovetop, espresso machine, kettle, toaster and fridge. A separate dining area seats six guests, creating a cosy space for breakfasts, family dinners or relaxed evenings in.

For longer stays, the downstairs utility room adds useful extra comfort, with an additional fridge-freezer, washing machine, dryer, sink, iron, ironing board, drying rack and cleaning equipment. Guests can also access the chalet through the garage after skiing, making it easy to store skis, boots and outdoor gear before coming into the main house.

Outdoor space is one of Chalet Lilian’s real strengths. There are three terraces positioned to catch the sun at different times of day. The kitchen opens onto a morning-sun terrace with mountain views. The upper bedroom opens onto another terrace, also accessible from the sitting area. The largest terrace has outdoor table and chairs plus a barbecue, making it ideal for summer meals, evening drinks or simply enjoying the mountain setting. In winter, the outdoor space gives children room to play safely in the snow.
