Christmas in Morgins ’09

Santa visits Morgins

Today is Christmas day and the end of a weeks holiday in Morgins .The weather has been a little unpredictable with rain  followed by a decent  dump of snow . The skiing  has been good with packed powder on empty pistes. There have been  some great times meeting friends new and old at Morgins’ “advent calender” where each night, a local business hosts a drinks evening.

Christmas Eve saw the annual English Carol service in the church followed by mulled wine, and today we woke to heavy snow, lots of presents and a visit from Santa and his pony outside the church, with presents for the children.

We especially enjoyed the singing santas outside the newsagents!

All in all, a Christmas wonderland!
