Just in case you had reason to doubt it here is proof that new lift announced to replace the Old Pointe de l’Au lift is becoming, at last a reality. No more snake like queues or long slow rides in the cold – we will soon have a fast four man chair to take us to some great skiing in Champoussin and beyond . Yesterday I watched the amazing dexterity of the helicopter dropping off the hardware for the top and bottom stations. As reported the lift starts around 200m above the old station next to a farm, which I do wonder will one day become a restaurant ?
There is a lot of confidence In Morgins with this new lift which will compliment the amazing range of chalets and apartments available for rent and we could have one of our best seasons ever.The lift not only services clients from Morgins but will also encourage skiers from other parts of the Portes du Soleil to visit Morgins.

New Lift Pass Too
The good news is that the Telemorgins Lift Company are now offering a new lift pass called MC which covers Morgins and Champousin only – which for beginners or those with young children is perfect and at round a 33% saving on the PDS pass it is a real bargain. The pass still covers around 9 lifts including 5 chairlifts .
